Description
PRODUCT OVERVIEW. The Diode Dynamics Amber LED Bulbs 3157 HP48 provide a modern lighting upgrade for front turn signals, delivering instant on/off performance superior to traditional incandescent bulbs. Designed as a direct plug-and-play replacement, they offer enhanced brightness while accurately maintaining brightness levels for both parking and turn signal functions. This upgrade improves visibility and adds a contemporary look that enhances vehicle signaling performance.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. These LED bulbs feature advanced constant-current inductive circuitry combined with transient suppression to withstand vehicle electrical noise and voltage spikes, promoting long-term reliability. The bulbs have a factory-sized 3157 base and are engineered with measured lumen outputs that precisely match OEM illumination characteristics. Their robust design avoids flickering and premature failure during normal use.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design requiring no drilling or modification to factory sockets. Some vehicles may require additional components such as resistors or LED flasher modules to prevent hyperflashing, but the bulbs fit directly into the existing turn signal housing.
WARRANTY. These bulbs include a 3 year limited replacement warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
APPLICATION. Specifically engineered to fit 2005 through 2015 Toyota Tacoma front turn signal assemblies. Switchback options are not compatible with vehicles that use turn signals as daytime running lights, and the XP80 bulb type is not recommended for TRD Offroad trim levels.
