The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide power retractable steps that automatically deploy when the vehicle doors open and retract after a brief delay when they close. This feature improves vehicle accessibility, especially for taller trucks and SUVs, while maintaining a sleek, streamlined appearance when not in use.

      Construction And Appearance. Built from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, these running boards are both durable and lightweight. They feature military-grade black PTFE coating for superior protection against oxidation and abrasion. The steps have a textured, slip-resistant surface and include integrated low-profile LED courtesy lights to enhance safety and visibility.

      Installation. Installation is moderately complex, and professional installation is recommended. The process generally does not require drilling, due to the included vehicle-specific mounting kit and plug-and-play OBDII connectivity for compatible models.
