Description
Heavy Duty, Universal Design. The Smittybilt Defender Roof Rack Axle and Shovel Mount with Adapter Brackets is manufactured using heavy duty metals and has a universal design for mounting on multiple vehicles. Additionally, the product, which is sold as individual kits, includes a standard padlock to protect your cargo from being stolen.
Unbreakable, Durable Construction. The roof rack axle and shovel mount kit is built using unbreakable, durable, and strong material known as 16 gauge fully welded steel tubing. The product weighs 1 pound, is 1 x 1 x 1 inches in dimensions, and has a 5/16 inch x 1 ¾ inch bolt. It also comes with 3/8 inch flat washers and has a black textured powder coat finish.
Installation Requires Some Expertise. You will need to have some mechanical skills in order to complete the installation. It takes about two hours to complete installing the roof rack axle and shovel mount kit.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. The product comes with a limited lifetime warrranty. As such, the roof rack axle and shovel mount kit is protected from workmanship and material flaws after the date of purchase. Be sure to check out the manufacturer's website to read about the warranty limitations.
