      Description

      Thermal Protection Solution. The Protect-A-Wire Kit; 2-Cylinder; Blue provides effective heat shielding for spark plug wire sets, safeguarding them from burning, cracking, and hardening caused by extreme under-hood temperatures. Designed for simple installation, the sleeving easily slides over spark plug wires after distributor boot removal, helping to preserve electrical performance and component longevity.

      Construction and Appearance. Made of high temperature resistant glass fiber material, this sleeving is durable and designed to withstand severe heat conditions. It comes in blue with a 5/16 inch (8mm) inside diameter and is complemented by heat shrink boot tubes for a secure and professional finish.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling or complex modifications. Simply remove the distributor boot, slide the sleeving over the spark plug wire, then secure it with the included heat shrink tubing.

      Application. Fits universally with some adaptation possibly required depending on specific vehicle configurations.
