Description
High-Performance Heat Protection. The Heat Shroud; 20 AN x 36-Inch provides superior protection for automotive lines, hoses, and wires from damaging heat, oil, dirt, and abrasion without needing to disconnect them. It is designed for easy wrapping around existing components to maintain flexibility and safeguard critical systems under high temperature conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This heat shroud is crafted from a high-temperature rated glass fiber fabric featuring a 19-ounce heat-treated insulation core. It has a durable aluminized outer facing for radiant heat reflection up to 2000°F, reinforced with aramid thread for enhanced heat resistance, abrasion durability, and flame-retardant performance. The material has a reflective, slightly textured metallic finish that combines durability with functionality.
Installation. Installation is tool-free and straightforward; there is no need to remove lines or hoses. The shroud can be cut to the desired length and is secured using a hook-and-loop closure system for adjustable and secure fitment.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to accommodate specific hose and line configurations.
