Description

Versatile Heat Protection. The Heat Shroud; 16 AN x 36-Inch is designed to protect automotive lines, hoses, and wires from excessive heat and abrasion, extending their service life. It wraps easily around connected components without requiring disconnection, providing an effective heat solution for harsh environments.

Construction and Appearance. Made from high-temperature heat-treated glass fiber fabric with a durable aluminized outer layer, this shroud offers thermal insulation and abrasion resistance. The fabric is reinforced with aramid thread to ensure flame retardance and durability, and features a metallic silver finish that effectively reflects radiant heat.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools or disassembly of lines. Simply cut the shroud to the desired length, wrap it around the component, and secure it with the integrated hook-and-loop fastener.

Application. Designed with an adjustable diameter to fit lines sized 16 AN and ranging between 0.5 to 2.5 inches, this shroud is universally adaptable; some modification may be necessary for specific applications. It should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
