Description
Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Sheath GOLD 1-Inch x 36-Inch is designed to shield lines, hoses, and wires from high heat and abrasion damage. It effectively reflects radiant heat and prevents premature failure of critical components in demanding automotive and industrial environments.
Construction and Appearance. This product combines a high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination with a durable 20-ounce heat-treated glass fiber base material. Aramid thread reinforcement enhances heat resistance, abrasion durability, and flame retardancy. The gold-colored reflective surface is optimized to redirect heat away from sensitive parts.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools. Simply unhook the line or hose, cut the sheath to the desired length, slide it into place, and reattach the components.
Application. Designed for universal applications; some adaptation may be required for proper fitment and protection. Do not install directly onto exhaust components to avoid degradation.
