This wrap is ideal for headers and downpipes to boost engine efficiency and protect nearby components from excessive heat.

Construction and Appearance. Made from durable black glass fiber material, this exhaust wrap withstands direct heat up to 1200°F and radiant heat up to 2000°F. It features unique installation guide lines to assist with precise application and provides added durability and heat retention. The black finish may fade over time when exposed to high temperatures, but this does not impact its thermal effectiveness.

Installation. The installation process is simple and requires no drilling. Stainless steel locking ties are included for secure, clean, and professional fastening. Once the wrap has been heat cycled, it should not be removed because the fibers lose flexibility; therefore, careful planning before installation is advised.

Application. This exhaust wrap fits universal applications, although some adaptation might be necessary depending on the exhaust configuration. It is not recommended for use on catalytic converters or titanium exhaust pipe systems due to the risk of damage and brittleness, respectively.
