High-Performance Heat Shield. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II, 42-Inch x 48-Inch, Black, is designed to effectively block engine and exhaust heat while providing a premium flexible black finish. It is intended for use on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and other areas to prevent heat intrusion into vehicle interiors and protect nearby components.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This shield features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core, offering high durability and excellent heat resistance. Its outer surface is coated with a proprietary high-temperature black finish that is both visually appealing and functional in heat control.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward thanks to the aggressive peel-and-stick adhesive backing, requiring no drilling or complicated tools. The adhesive remains effective even under high temperatures and in challenging environmental conditions such as exposure to wind and water.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Designed for universal use with some adaptation potentially necessary. It should not be applied directly to exhaust components to ensure safety and maintain optimal product performance.
