It reflects and insulates against high temperatures commonly found in automotive environments such as fire walls, transmission tunnels, and floor pans, enhancing both vehicle safety and comfort.

This shield features a durable 10 mil dimpled aluminum face laminated to a 1/8 inch composite glass-fiber core, creating a lightweight yet robust heat shield. Its aluminum surface is multifaceted and embossed for enhanced reflection and rigidity, while the backing consists of a patented finely woven glass-fiber layer that adds strength and sound deadening capabilities. The shield is finished with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive non-adhesive backing.
