It acts as a fireproof insulator that preserves the integrity of vulnerable components exposed to extreme temperatures, preventing heat-related failures and extending the life of critical vehicle lines.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from high temperature resistant braided glass material, the sleeve is woven into a durable sheath and extensively coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber. This combination provides excellent thermal insulation and a protective outer finish that withstands direct heat up to 500°F, while also tolerating intermittent heat up to 2000°F. The sleeve remains flexible yet robust to accommodate hoses and wiring bundles.
