When used as a hitch-mounted step, this component rests about 2 inches above the hitch, enabling you to easily access roof-mounted cargo or enter your rear area. Meanwhile, this component’s skid plate function keeps your rear bumper protected from damage when negotiating a steep incline upwards. What’s more, its all-black look and angular design give your rear a rugged style accent.
Brawny Build Quality. The hitch-mounted step and skid plate are manufactured from high-quality cold-rolled plate steel and square steel tubes for maximum strength. Moreover, this component is machine-formed and expertly welded for an accurate fit when installed. Its stepping surface is then precision-cut with slots to add traction when accessing your roof or cargo area. Similarly, the Fishbone logo is precision-cut onto its rear surface to give the assembly a striking appearance. Finally, this hitch accessory is finished in a durable textured black powder coat finish for exceptional corrosion protection and awesome looks.
Simple Install Procedure. This combination hitch-mounted step and skid plate are designed to work just like any receiver hitch accessory.
