Description

The Factor 55 Flat Splicer for Synthetic Winch Lines; Red is engineered to replace traditional winch hooks with a safer, foldable shackle mount that securely attaches synthetic winch ropes. It enables the winch rope to be routed through the center and turned 90 degrees along the inner radius, protecting it from UV exposure, impact abrasion, and damage while maintaining optimal vehicle approach angles. This design is ideal for off-road vehicle recovery and rigging applications requiring durable and reliable gear.
Construction and Appearance. CNC machined from 6000 series military-grade aluminum, the Flat Splicer delivers high strength and lightweight performance. It features a durable Mil-Spec hard anodized finish for superior corrosion resistance and integrated EPDM rubber pads that protect vehicle fairleads from abrasion. The foldable design measures 1.75 inches thick when folded flat, minimizing frontal protrusion on vehicles.
