This innovative solar power system is designed to mount onto your iKamper, providing you with clean solar energy for all your overlanding and camping activities. Moreover, this system’s included solar panel measures just 3mm thick and is completely weatherproof, giving you reliable power in a package that doesn’t add any weight to your setup. Best of all, this system takes the load off your 4Runner’s battery, helping extend its life.
Efficient and Complete System. At the heart of this solar power system is an innovative flexible solar panel capable of providing 70 watts of power. This factor allows you to run a wide range of 12-volt accessories like refrigerators, chargers, and lights without having to run your engine. Likewise, this system comes with a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar charge controller. This charge controller helps prevent your battery from overcharging while also maintaining optimal charging times so you never run out of electricity when you need it.
Tenacious Build Quality. This system’s solar power assembly is constructed from multiple layers of advanced polymers with a fiberglass backing sheet, offering superior resistance to harsh weather conditions. The included solar charge controller for its part features a housing machined from premium metal alloy to keep its internal components protected from vibrations and heat. Lastly, the solar panel is available in black, giving it an understated look.
Easy Install Procedure. This system’s included solar panel is designed to install onto your iKamper tent’s outer shell using preinstalled 3M automotive grade double-sided adhesive. It is suggested to first clean the mounting surfaces on your iKamper before rubbing down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. You will also need to perform minor wiring work when connecting the solar panel with the included charge controller. Other than these steps, installation is a relatively easy procedure that’s completed using just standard hand tools.
