      Description

      Performance Upgrade. The AFE 76mm Billet Throttle Body is designed to increase engine airflow, resulting in enhanced horsepower and throttle response. It replaces the factory 65mm throttle body with a larger bore unit that fits directly onto the engine for improved performance without the need for ECU tuning. This upgrade is ideal for enthusiasts aiming to improve throttle efficiency and the overall driving experience.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the throttle body includes a precision-machined adapter known for its lightweight strength and durability. The adapter’s serrated and swirl design induces intake turbulence to promote more complete combustion. It features a sleek metallic finish typical of billet aluminum components.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing the vehicle’s factory mounting points and including all necessary hardware and gaskets for a secure fit. No drilling or special tools are required. Average installation time ranges from one to two hours.

      Application. Specifically engineered to fit Toyota 4Runner models from 2003 to 2009 equipped with the 4.0L 1GR-FE Single VVT-i engine. Installation may require an aftermarket cold air intake system and special mounting brackets due to the increased throttle body diameter.
