SecureLatch Pintle Hook. The 2-Inch Receiver Hitch SecureLatch Pintle Hook, rated for 14,000 lbs., features an automatic locking mechanism that simplifies heavy-duty trailer coupling. It securely connects with lunette rings sized 2-1/2" or 3" inside diameter, providing a quiet, stable towing experience by reducing noise and chucking during acceleration or braking.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from austempered cast iron for enhanced strength and wear resistance, this pintle hook is finished with a durable battleship grey powder coat for excellent exterior protection. The bright gold zinc-plated hardware resists corrosion, ensuring long-lasting durability in demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling and fits standard 2" x 2" receiver tube openings. The built-in back plate helps position the lunette ring for easier hookup, improving convenience and safety. A safety pin must be installed before towing to ensure secure use.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty that covers one year for finish and parts.
