Description
Premium Upgrade. If you’re looking to upgrade your Toyota Tacoma with beefier control arms and ball joints, this SkyJacker product is perfect for you. The included control arms feature a DOM tubular steel construction, making them significantly more rigid and resilient over the stock units. They’ve been designed to provide excellent pivot and retain accurate ball joint angles as the wheel travels up and down. This reduces suspension stress by a significant margin, especially if you’re a keen off-roader. These upper control arms are much less prone to bend or snap compared to the OEM ones.
Engineered to Last. Included in this kit are also heavy duty ball joints and premium OEM-style polyurethane bushings. The bushings were engineered to be maintenance-free and resist cracking, something found on a lot of rubber bushings. Their design also enables them to retain some elasticity and flexibility, eliminating road vibrations. The upper control arms themselves are powder-coated to prevent rust and corrosion from building up.
Direct-Fit Replacement. This is not a kit that requires welding, cutting, or drilling of any kind. They were designed as OEM replacement parts with a much higher emphasis on durability and reliability. Skyjacker designed this kit to be a direct bolt-on replacement. The control arms bolt up to the factory mounting points on your Tacoma.
Easy Installation. Installation is simple, requiring minimal mechanical know-how. If you’re half decent with hand tools and can operate a jack, you should be able to swap out your factory control arms with these ones in no time.
