Simple Installation, Easy Maintenance. The Rugged Ridge Shock Boot is quite simple to install. All you need to do is unbolt the shock you’re installing it on, slide it over the shaft and bolt the shock back in place. This also makes the shock boot easy to clean and maintain, as it is designed to drain water to the ends, allowing for a thorough hosing off even without removing it. If you think a good amount of dirt has accumulated inside, you can just remove it, clean it thoroughly, and install it back on the shocks.
