Description
Capacity. Rugged Ridge's synthetic winch rope is rated at 16,550 pounds, perfect for many applications. Using a synthetic rope has its advantages over standard wire cables. This rope is made from (12) Dyneema SK-75 fibers and tightly woven for a higher breaking point. Rope, unlike metal cables, do not store any potential energy so if you do exceed the breaking point, whiplash is less likely to occur and with much less energy. Finally, especially in muddy terrain, ropes help because they float, unlike sinking cables.
Winch & Line Specs. This synthetic line measures 100 feet long and is 11/32 in size.
Application. This synthetic rope can be universally applied as long as you do not exceed the breaking point.
