Description
PREMIUM UNIVERSAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade; 2.50-Inch is designed to effectively control vehicle emissions and keep the check engine light off. It serves as a critical component in your vehicle’s exhaust system by converting harmful pollutants into less harmful emissions, complying fully with Federal EPA emission standards and ensuring environmental safety.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This catalytic converter features a robust build using high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and 308 stainless steel MIG welds, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Its clam-shell body design includes an attached aluminized steel heat shield for enhanced thermal protection and long service life.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires professional welding as it features a universal design to accommodate various vehicle placements. No drilling is typically necessary, but some customization may be needed to fit precisely in confined engine bays.
