Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks with CDEV for 1 to 3-Inch Lift are engineered to deliver exceptional off-road performance and refined on-road ride quality. These shocks utilize an electronically controlled compression damping valve that adjusts in real-time to terrain changes, ensuring optimal suspension response and vehicle control. They are ideal for drivers seeking both enhanced capability and comfort under varying driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum with a hard anodized finish, these shocks feature impact extruded cylinders for superior corrosion resistance and durability. The nitrogen charged monotube design includes a piggyback reservoir for improved heat dissipation, while precision CNC machining ensures tight tolerances and a consistent, high-quality appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill with no drilling necessary and is designed to fit directly onto compatible 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner models equipped with a 4.0L V6 engine and 1 to 3 inches of rear lift. Vehicles equipped with Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) require the addition of rear track bar part number 54200 for proper fitment.
