Description
Superior Off-Road Suspension. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Secondary Long Travel 2.5 Series Shocks PB CDCV deliver enhanced suspension performance by optimizing damping control and preventing harsh bottom-outs. These shocks are designed to improve ride quality both on rugged trails and paved streets, making them ideal for drivers seeking a balance of comfort and capability. Their externally adjustable CDC Valve provides 10 compression settings to fine-tune performance for diverse terrain demands.
Construction and Appearance. Built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, these shocks feature CNC machined components paired with one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders for excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish. The nitrogen charged monotube design with piggyback reservoir improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use. Other features include 7/8-inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shafts and PTFE lined spherical bearings for enhanced durability and smooth operation.
Installation. Installation of these shocks is straightforward and tailored to fit specific applications without requiring modifications. They are compatible with long travel kits that support secondary shocks, making upgrades easier for the user.
