The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Extended Travel V.S. 2.5 Series Front Remote Reservoir Coil-Over Kit provides 0 to 3.5 inches of adjustable lift with a 700 lb/in spring rate, designed to enhance front suspension performance for Toyota 4Runner models from 2003 to 2009. It offers adjustable lift height, increased wheel travel, and vehicle-specific valving to deliver excellent ride quality on and off the road. This coilover system supports larger wheel and tire combinations and is ideal for vehicles with added front-end weight.
Construction and Appearance. The coilovers feature a durable CAD-plated shock body with a 7/8" shaft for corrosion resistance and rugged durability. High-quality engineered coil springs with a 700 lb/in spring rate are included for superior front-end support, and remote reservoirs help maintain cooler operating temperatures during extended off-road use. FK rod end bearings provide enhanced longevity and minimize deflection. The fully serviceable design allows for revalving and rebuilds, ensuring an extended service life.
Installation. Installation involves replacing the front coilovers and requires aftermarket upper control arms due to the extended travel design. The bolt-in design fits directly into the OEM shock locations without the need for modifications, facilitating a straightforward installation for experienced technicians.
