      Description

      Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.25-inch inlet and outlet delivers a deep, aggressive exhaust tone ideal for street and strip applications. It is designed to improve exhaust flow and performance, particularly for high-horsepower and forced induction engines, while balancing sound intensity with reduced interior resonance through Delta Flow technology.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this chambered muffler is coated with high-temperature black paint to resist corrosion and provide an attractive finish.

      Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and does not need drilling due to slip-fit inlet and outlet connections. New hangers must be used as mounting hardware is not included.

      Application. This universal muffler fits a wide range of vehicles including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs. Some adaptation may be necessary for proper fitment.
