This cat-back exhaust brings together free-flowing exhaust plumbing with a specially designed straight-through muffler. This design works to transform your stock exhaust note into a menacing throaty rumble upon ignition that builds up into a dynamic roar at full throttle. What’s more, this new exhaust note produces almost no internal drone so you can cruise the road in peace.
Enhanced Exhaust Velocity and Performance. This cat-back exhaust doesn’t give your 4Runner a menacing new exhaust note, it also gives it performance to match. Specifically, this exhaust’s aforementioned free-flowing plumbing and straight-through muffler style encourage the faster exit of exhaust gases from your engine. In doing so, this system makes your engine’s combustion cycle more efficient upgrading your truck’s performance.
High-Strength Build Quality. This cat-back exhaust utilizes 2.50-inch diameter 404 stainless steel piping in its construction for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. This stainless steel piping is then CNC-mandrel bent and expertly welded, increasing rigidity. The straight-through muffler for its part is likewise machine-formed and welded and integrates the 3.50-inch exhaust tip into its structure for a more efficient installation. Additionally, the integrated exhaust tip features a slant-cut, beveled edge design with a tough black ceramic coating for maximum corrosion protection and style.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. Installing this FlowFX series cat-back exhaust is a fairly hassle-free procedure as it’s designed to replace your factory exhaust without the need for modifications. However, tack-welding of the exhaust’s slip-fit connections is recommended. If you decide to go this route, please consider professional installation if you’re not an experienced welder.
