Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 70 Series Big Block II Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.25-Inch inlet and 2.25-Inch outlet diameters is engineered to improve horsepower, torque, and overall engine efficiency. It delivers a mild, stock exterior exhaust tone with minimal interior resonance, making it well suited for trucks, SUVs, motorhomes, and street/high-performance vehicles.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for strength and longevity, this muffler features an enlarged case incorporating Flowmaster’s Delta Flow® technology for enhanced sound control. The exterior is finished with a high-temperature black paint that resists heat and environmental elements.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. This muffler offers universal fitment but requires moderate installation skill and some adaptation. It is not designed for direct bolt-on installation. New hangers are required but not included. Depending on the exhaust system, additional drilling or modifications may be necessary due to the slip-fit inlet and outlet connections.
