The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Center/Center Race Muffler features a 3.50-inch inlet and 3.50-inch outlet, designed expressly for racing applications that demand significant decibel reduction over open headers without sacrificing power. It delivers an aggressive sound while preserving excellent power characteristics, making it ideal for race vehicles where sound control and high performance are essential.

Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable, fully welded 16 gauge 409 stainless steel, this race muffler incorporates a two-chamber design utilizing proven Delta Flow technology. It is finished with high-temperature black textured paint for enhanced durability and resistance to the harsh conditions typically encountered in racing environments.

Installation. Installation requires some adaptation due to its universal fitment and slip-fit inlet and outlet connections. New hangers are required and are not included with the muffler. Drilling is typically not needed for installation.

Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation required. Specifically designed for classic muscle cars, late model muscle cars, race, and street/strip vehicles that require a 3.50-inch center inlet and outlet muffler.
