The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 3-Inch Inlet and 2.50-Inch Outlet offers an aggressive tone engineered to enhance street and strip performance. It is designed to improve exhaust scavenging while reducing interior resonance, providing a balanced sound suitable for muscle, classic, and street rod vehicles.

Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded, this muffler features a high-temperature black paint finish for corrosion resistance and lasting durability. Its chambered design incorporates Delta Flow technology with internal deflectors that optimize flow and sound control.

Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections supporting both clamp-on and weld-on methods. Some adaptation may be necessary, and new hangers are required but not included with the muffler.

Application. This muffler fits a wide range of 4- and 6-cylinder engines as well as classic muscle, late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs. Universal fitment allows compatibility with many setups though minor modifications may be required.
