The Flowmaster 225 Series Enhanced Duty Catalytic Converter; 2.50-inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet; 49-State Legal is designed to reduce vehicle emissions while maintaining optimal exhaust flow and minimizing performance loss. This converter is used to replace or upgrade the emissions control system, ensuring compliance with federal EPA standards and helping to prevent the check engine light from activating.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a durable stainless steel outer shell, this catalytic converter features a ceramic substrate engineered for maximum efficiency. It carries a natural finish and includes a heat shield to protect surrounding components, combining longevity with functional design.

      Installation. Installation requires welding and/or fabrication, making it suitable for experienced technicians. No drilling is typically required, but professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and compliance.

      Warranty. This product includes a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5-year/50,000-mile exterior case warranty for added confidence and reliability.

      Application. Designed as a universal fit catalytic converter, some adaptation may be required to fit specific vehicles. It is compliant for use in 49 states but not legal in California or states that adhere to California emissions regulations.
