It serves as a direct replacement part designed to restore catalytic function and reduce harmful exhaust emissions, ensuring smooth engine operation while preventing MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) triggers.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a stainless steel outer shell for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, this converter features a spun body design with a ceramic internal substrate treated with precious metals for optimal catalytic efficiency. The finished surface has a natural, uncoated appearance that suits various exhaust system configurations.
Installation. This universal catalytic converter requires welding and/or fabrication for installation. Qualified technicians are recommended for proper fitment and optimal performance. It uses slip-fit connections designed for weld-on applications, typically eliminating the need for drilling.
Warranty and Application. The product is backed by a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a five-year/50,000-mile exterior case warranty. It is designed for universal fitment across a wide variety of vehicles but is not legal for use on vehicles licensed or operated in California.
