Description
Product Overview. The Factor 55 ProLink XXL is a premium shackle mount designed to replace traditional winch hooks with a safer, stronger shackle/D-ring mounting point. Widely used by first responders and winch owners, it enhances safety and reliability during vehicle recoveries. The ProLink XXL is especially critical for high-capacity winch setups, providing enhanced security in demanding recovery applications.
Construction and Appearance. Machined from lightweight billet 6061 aluminum in the USA, the ProLink XXL incorporates aerospace-grade titanium hardware, including a double-shear pin and internal snap ring, for exceptional strength and durability. EPDM rubber guards protect fairleads, cushion rope stowage, and prevent rattling. The precision machining and durable materials deliver a high-quality finish well suited for heavy-duty use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no splicing or complex modifications. The ProLink XXL mounts easily and quickly and is compatible with both steel and synthetic winch lines as well as hawse and roller fairleads.
