Description
Enhanced Suspension Control. The Camburg 2.50-Inch Front Slapper Bump Stop Mounting Kit is engineered to provide superior bottoming resistance and improved ride quality for off-road enthusiasts. Designed specifically for 2003–2024 Toyota 4Runner models without the KDSS system, this kit ensures that the bump stop engages only during bottoming events, allowing for a more active suspension in the ride zone.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a slapper arm design that positions the bump stop further outboard on the lower arm, enhancing its effectiveness. The mounts are supplied raw, requiring welding, and are recommended to be finished with black Steel-IT for durability. The design includes a rubber pad to reduce noise upon contact, and the kit is compatible with custom FOX or King 2.5 bump stops, which feature a high-performance cerakoted gray coating.
Installation. Installation of this kit requires advanced fabrication skills, including welding, cutting, and grinding. It is not a bolt-on application and is intended for use with Camburg's Trail Series long-travel kit or stock-length performance lower arms.
