Construction And Appearance. This ladder is crafted from US-made cold-rolled carbon steel tubing measuring 1 inch in diameter, reinforced with 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch steel for added strength. It features an epoxy primer serving as a rust barrier, finished with a durable black powder coat for long-lasting protection and a rugged appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a no-drill, permanent mounting method directly onto the rear door. This ladder is compatible with most roof rack brands, simplifying setup while ensuring a solid and secure attachment.
Application. Designed specifically for 5th Gen 4Runner models from 2010 to 2024, compatibility requires verifying the hatch gap and upper edge dimensions to ensure proper fitment and prevent interference from excess sealant. Verify that the hatch gap is between 5/16” and 3/8”, and the hatch upper edge dimension falls between 0.1” (2.5mm) and 0.2” (5mm). Do not install if the upper edge dimension exceeds 0.2” due to additional Toyota sealant.
