Description

By wrapping headers and downpipes, it lowers heat soak, preserves the air charge temperature for enhanced engine performance, and helps maintain higher exhaust gas temperatures for improved flow.
_x000D__x000D_CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This exhaust wrap is made from durable glass fiber material that withstands extreme temperatures—up to 1200°F direct heat and 2000°F radiant heat. It features a black coating for aesthetic durability, although color fading may occur over time and with exposure to high heat, such as racing or turbo applications. The wrap includes installation guide lines for easy, controlled application.
_x000D__x000D_INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling or special tools, though care should be taken not to remove or reposition the wrap after it has been heat cycled due to material stiffness. Stainless steel locking ties are recommended for securing the wrap to ensure a professional and lasting fit.
