The Floor and Tunnel Shield II; 42-Inch x 48-Inch; Black is designed to block engine and exhaust heat from penetrating vehicle interiors, providing essential protection to critical components. This flexible shield is ideal for application on firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floors, contributing to a cooler, safer environment inside the vehicle.

The shield features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core, finished with a proprietary high temperature black coating for durability and an attractive appearance. A high-temperature, super strong pressure-sensitive adhesive backing ensures the shield adheres firmly under extreme conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with an aggressive peel-and-stick adhesive backing, requiring no drilling or specialized tools. The material is flexible and can be easily shaped or trimmed to fit various contours and surfaces.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation required. It is important not to apply this shield directly to exhaust components due to temperature limitations on the adhesive backing.
