Description
Fail-Safe Cooling Control. The Fail-Safe Thermostat; 180-Degree is designed to regulate engine temperature by controlling coolant flow to prevent overheating. It ensures optimal engine performance and protects the engine from damage caused by temperature extremes by opening at 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from stainless steel and copper, this thermostat features an OEM-grade design with a silver, brass, and gold finish. It includes a jiggle pin check valve and a weep hole to aid coolant circulation and air purging for efficient operation.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, fitting directly into the thermostat housing as a one-piece replacement. No pre-installed gasket or seal is included; appropriate sealing materials are necessary for proper installation.
