Description
Effective Battery Protection. The Battery Insulation Kit addresses heat soak issues in vehicle batteries, helping to prevent premature failure due to heat and vibration. This kit is designed to be easily installed around most battery shapes and sizes, offering critical protection in harsh under-hood environments.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a sheet of Reflect-A-Cool material with a black felt backing, a separate felt sheet, and a length of Cool Tape for securing the insulation. The Reflect-A-Cool material is engineered to withstand radiant heat up to 2000°F, featuring a durable, aluminized surface combined with a soft felt base that absorbs and neutralizes battery acid.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling or special tools. The insulation material can be easily trimmed for a precise fit, making it suitable for various battery sizes with minimal effort.
