Description
Eliminates Drive-By-Wire Pedal Delay with Bluetooth. If you own a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler Jk you are well aware of the annoying delay in throttle response. Now you can eliminate this irritating delay for crisp throttle response with a Pedal Commander Bluetooth Throttle Response Controller. The Bluetooth compatibility means easier access to changing settings.
Explaining the Delay and Solution. This throttle-response delay is caused by the drive-by-wire system that Jeep uses in all their modern vehicles. The drive-by-wire system monitors the position of the gas pedal to control the throttle electronically, similar to a dimmer switch. The problem with this setup is that the signal from the pedal has to first be sent the ECU, which in turn then sends the signal to the actuator motor on the throttle body. This delay is most noticeable when trying to speed up to merge with faster moving traffic or when trying to feather the throttle to navigate up a rocky trail. The Pedal Commander Bluetooth Throttle Response Controller should eliminate this hideous delay.
Four Adjustable Control Modes. Unlike other throttle control devices that are either on or off, the Pedal Commander comes with four preset control modes for Eco, City, Sport and Sport Plus driving applications. Best of all each mode has 8 different levels of sensitivity, this will allow you to personally adjust each mode to your own personal driving style and needs. Thanks to the magic of Bluetooth, you can change these settings from your smart device and not have to physically bend over to do it.
Easy Plug & Play Installation. The Pedal Commander Bluetooth Throttle Response Controller connects directly into the stock throttle position sensor found on the drive-by-wire gas pedal using an OEM style plug and play connector with no permanent modifications required. The Pedal Commander is 100% reversible making it warranty friendly.
Two-Year Product Warranty. Pedal Commander manufactures their Bluetooth Throttle Response Controller to the highest quality and standards with CE and TUV Certification. However in the event you do receive a defective or malfunctioning device, Pedal Commander will replace it free of charge within 2 years of the original purchase date.
Application. The Pedal Commander Bluetooth Throttle Response Controller is designed for use on all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.
