Built for Aggression. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing with 4.10 Gears & ARB Air Locker for 4-6 in. Lift has been completely redesigned with extreme off-road conditions in mind. With the TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing, you can aggressively drive your Jeep harder than ever, without worrying about it giving up on you. And being a direct bolt-in replacement, installing the TeraFlex Front Tera44 won’t require major modifications to your Jeep.
The Toughest Axle Housing Out There. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing comes with some of the toughest construction found on any axle out on the market today. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 is manufactured from high-grade ductile cast iron and feature larger housing rib gussets for increased stiffness, as well as larger forged inner knuckles. TeraFlex also uses larger 3.25 diameter axle tubes with walls that are 0.5 in. thick – the largest axle tubing you could find! The whole axle housing is then subjected to a triple-stage powder coat that has been UV treated, for extreme corrosion resistance.
Direct Installation. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing is designed to be a direct bolt-in assembly. As such, it will utilize your Jeep’s factory axle shafts, outer knuckles, unit bearings, and outer axle assembly, as well as all the brakes and sensors. While no modifications to your Jeep are necessary, installation by a professional is highly recommended.
Requirements and Recommendations. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing will require adjustable control arms, such as the TeraFlex FlexArm for proper caster adjustment. Aftermarket inner axle shafts are also required to handle the additional power. The axle U-joints required should come from a 2013 to 2017 Wrangler JK. An air system is also needed for the included ARB air locker. Finally, upgrades to the axle stub, axle shaft tube seal, steering, and brake system are highly recommended for optimal performance.
