CA Residents: Warning: California's Proposition 65
Installation Time: (approx) 1 Hour
Difficulty Level:Simple installation for anyone
do these have any support that attaches to the frame for additional strength so they won't crush the rocker panel? we just got a 2017 JK 2 door and are looking for ease of access and protection from side rock damage just having a little trouble picturing these on our truck .
Thank you for your question! These would be mounted to the pinch weld, as well as by the hardware drilled into the body. I would recommend a side step that attaches to the frame for the best support and protection.

Awesome product, tricky installation
Overall, great product and worth the money. Just be prepared to spend some time on the installation. Having the proper tools will make it much smoother. Be sure to get a 27/64 drill bit and a rivet nut tool that will handled M8 rivet nuts. Pros: - They look great - Protection is extended towards the frame on the underside. - Sturdy construction. Cons: - Installation takes a while if you don't have help. - Lining up all the bolt holes was tricky and required some finesse to get everything lined up properly. - The rivet nut tool they supply for installing the rivet nuts is absolutely 100 worthless. I managed to get about 2 rivet nuts per side set properly with it, and even then I had to put all my strength into torquing them. Do yourself a favor and spend $40 on Amazon to get a real rivet nut installation tool that handles M8 sized rivet nuts. I couldn't finished the installation because the rivet nuts wouldn't set correctly. - Powder coat is a little thin and scraped off easily. Not a huge issue though. Overall, great product and worth the money. Just be prepared to spend some time on the installation. Having the proper tools will make it much smoother.
