Design. Smittybilt's XRC rear 3 inch fender flares fall at the toughest end of the fender spectrum, with serious DOM steel construction giving them the rigor and durability to stand up to any paces you want to put them through, on the road or off. Though somewhat narrower than the OE fenders, these flares are far tougher and provide excellent protection in all conditions. They are finished with durable, scratch proof, rust resistance black textured powder coat paint, which protects against weather, moisture, and even corrosive substances and brake dust. These flares add robust protection to the rear wheel wells of a Wrangler and look attractively sturdy.

Construction. The high clearance of these flares provides plenty of space for oversized custom tires, especially when combined with front fenders that provide ample clearance also. They make room for tires that give the Wrangler improved performance, stability, and safety on demanding terrain and rough ground such as broken rock or dry stream beds. This extends the capabilities of the Jeep without the need to raise the body and undertake major modifications to its structure. These flares are strong, durable, and look great, just what's needed to give your vehicle a distinctive flourish that stands out from the pack.

Application. This kit is a drill installation for 1997 – 2006 TJ Wranglers. Some drilling is required for fitment. For use with Smittybilt Textured Black XRC Rear Corner Guards.

      Rear Tube Fender Flares

Product arrived in two days unharmed and with all hardware needed for the install. Removing existing OEM flares and installing the new tube fender flares took 1 1/2 hours. Super pleased with the quality of the flares as well as the finished look once installed.

      Perfect

This fender was exactly what I was looking for. They are close in size to the factory flares. They were easy to install, about an hour.

      Rear fender flare

So the product is nearly identical to the almighty poisonspyder brand. Easy to install, and looks good. Only thing I would have to recommend is the option for different powdercoating styles. Not a huge fan of the textured, but the price is unbeatable.

      Great value and Look

SO easy to install. The "hardest" thing was working around the inner fender liner without taking it completely out. It was THAT easy. Maybe a hour to instal! Looks great, and for the price? You can't beat them!

Barricade tube front fenders with 3'' flare

Arrived with the packaging tore open, but all parts were there and no noticeable damage. You will have to drill out existing holes to 1/4'' but that literally took 15 seconds. And also have to remove of loosen inner fender to install them. I just took mine out and bed lined the inner tub. Looks great. hey also use one factory hole and screw. They look good and I gained about 4 inches of clearance.

      Put them on my YJ

I got these for my YJ instead of the ones meant for it as the TJ flare has a wider opening. It was simple to mock up, mark the new holes, and trim the body wheel opening. Now I have all sorts of extra room for tire as I continue my upgrades. Also these were the cheapest (price wise) and very solid.

      Great look and durable

These fenders are very strong and will with hold lots of abuse. The holes line up perfectly with stock fender flares.

Unbeatable price for what you get!

It is a very well built product with somewhat flimsy hardware, but I think they will hold up very well. If nothing else I could go buy some better bolts. I am unsure about how well the powder coat will hold up, but it looks good. I would say get them if you want fenders that in my oppinion will hold up very well! Depending on the amount of rust you have will determine the difficulty and amount of time to put them on. But, I would say a 45 minutes to 1hour and 1/2

      Great fit easy job

Packaged good and came with instructions. Super easy install no trimming just bolt on and drive away. The only thing is I had the front lowest factory hole was not covered but I just screwed in a black bolt and called it good. They feel sturdy and I am willing to bet that my fat butt could stand on them if needed. The finish is textured wrinkled and looks good but I fear might be hard to clean after a good mud run. Overall I love the looks to match the front barricade tube fenders

      Slick look

These fenders are the real deal! Glad I upgraded! Only thing is that it doesn't line up with the body all the way so u can see the body from under.

      Hardware and instruction was lacking

I installed these flares directly to my jeep body (a move which is not recommended by the manufacturer but is totally fine). They do in fact bolt right into the existing body holes for the old flares. EXCEPT for the forward most bolt hole has a threaded rivet in the hole (because the back side of the hole is not accessible; it's fully enclosed by the pillar of the body). Of course the installation instructions don't say anything about it and the new bolts don't fit the threaded rivets, so it's a good idea to save the bolts as you uninstall the old flares. I also thought the washers that the new flares come with are way too small for the application. I bought 24 large fender washers to add to the hardware provided to beef up the bolting points. Especially a good idea if your attaching straight to the body like it did. Otherwise, good product, installs quick and looks great when it's done

      3 inch flares

The flares are nice, The powder coating isnt the best, It was already scuffed up upon receiving them. I also did not like the tiny mounting screws that were included. I have full intentions of hitting stuff with these.
