If I have an adjustable front track bar do i need to use the dropped pitman arm

        • With an adjustable front track bar you would not need a drop pitman arm.

what are extended rear end links

        • The extended rear end links are attached to the rear sway bar , when lifting the Jeep the stock end links are to small after the lift.So longer end links are needed to accommodate the lift.

            Avoid Skyjacker at all cost!

After installing this kit I found that my Jeep sat 2" higher in the rear, so I contacted Skyjacker with part numbers. Apparently they sent me springs for a JK and then refused to correct the issue, attempting to blame Extreme Terrain instead! Not only were the springs WRONG the shocks are terribly hard and the lift rides horribly on road and off road. Avoid this kit and Skyjacker.

            Perfect budget lift.

This is a great and affordable kit to give you good clearance and enough space for larger tires.

            Sky jacket 4 inch lift

The lift is great but did not get any instructions or torque spec with it. Had to call sky jacker direct and talk to a Tec and have him email the spec. Very disappointed with extreme terrain on that point. Wouldn't send any body to extreme terrain.

            Not impressed

I'm not sure if I got the same lift as everyone else on here from all of the reviews. My box came damaged and missing hardware, the directions at times seemed vague and unclear, I thought that the pictures on the directions would help but they were black and white and taken (in my opinion) bad angles for most of them. I went online to see if their PDF for this could shed light on the colorless picture and they were also black and white. The best thing I did for when I was confused was to call or talk to the people of ExtremeTerrain for assistance (mainly being lost due to the lack of hardware I had received). All in all, ExtremeTerrain was a great help, along with the local hardware store.

It's OK, but seems kind of average.

I am not shooting this lift kit down but I did expect more from Skyjacker! The ride is rougher than should be but seems very stable. I was disappointed in the length of the new lower control arms, it is almost waste of time to change them for length but the tubular shape does add strength. Overall, not a bad lift, but not near as good as it should be! Best part of lift was the "Jesus Rocks!" stickers that came with it! Also, I got a great price from Extreme Terrain!

            Simple in design

This lift took me about 8 hours to install, with no experience doing anything like this. The directions were very easy to follow and photos made understanding them even better. Jeep has a nice off road look to it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a do it yourself lift kit.

            Great Lift Kit

I installed this lift myself. So far so good haha. This lift was fairly simple to install. The clearance I now have with my jeep is awesome. This lift has a very smooth ride and feels good on and off-road. I would recomend this lift kit to anyone with a TJ. Great price for a great lift.
