Hi, Will this lift kit work with these FOX shocks? https://www.extremeterrain.com/fox-2pt0-perfseries-ifpshocks-for4to6inlift-set-0717jk.html What are the driveshafts required please, can you post the links or part numbers here please?

  • Thank you for your question! Rock Krawler recommends a Front Shock with 2" bump stops that is 17" Collapsed to 29" Extended and a Rear shock with 2 " bump stops that is 17" Collapsed to 27" Extended. The FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shocks for 4-6 in. Lift are the recommended lengths that Rock Krawler suggests and would work perfectly with this kit! Also, because of the longer wheel base with the JKU's you should not need to replace/extend your driveshafts until you reach 4" of lift. Rock Krawler does recommend though for 2012 and newer models an aftermarket front driveshaft with 2" O.D. steel tubing, but it is not required.

Instructions require moving the rear sway bar back one inch. It doesn't look like you did this step. Did you have problems with links coming into contact with rear axle? I really like this kit but I am hesitant to purchase because I don't like the idea of moving the sway bar and replacing oem nuts and bolts with "self tapping screws". I own a 2013 JKU Rubicon. I'm also interested in the X-factor 2.5 in. lift and switching to 35 in. tires. I really appreciated this video.

  • It is not necessary to relocate the swaybar with the Rock Krawler 3.5 in. X Factor Lift Kit System, however this is recommended to achieve maximum off road performance.

Will this work with my electronic disconnect sway bar system in my rubicon? Or do i need to buy extra accessories for it to work?

  • This Rock Krawler 3.5 in. X Factor Lift Kit System (07-17 Wrangler JK 4-Door) would work with your Rubicon, no additional accessories would be needed.

Hi, interested in this kit for a 4dr JKU and planning on 35" tires. In your experience, will I need to worry about new driveshafts as well? With going up 3.5", I know the angle will change, but is it enough to worry about? Thanks for any help 1 answer

Amazing On Road and Off Road

Have this kit on my 09 Rubicon JKU with Fox 2.0 shocks. This kit is amazing, I have had other lift kits on past vehicles (mine and other family members). The problem I always had with lifts was something had to sacrificed either with on road or off road. This kit solves it all while still being a big enough lift to make it very substantial for off road but giving it amazing on road manners. not cheap but you get what you pay for.

It really is a Smooth Highway ride!

This is my 3rd Jeep and the second lift kit I've installed myself. I'm a banker by day, not a mechanic and this was actually a little easier than the last kit with no need for Pitman Arm puller or spring compression tool. The components are high quality and feel solid. I ran into no real issues during the install on my 2015 JKU but lining the joints up correctly with the correct torque was a challenge. I recommend making measurements prior to install on all arms and bars and then fine tune them and crank down those jam nuts when the vehicle is on the ground. Oh, and set the vehicle down prior to adjusting the length on the front track bar as the front end will look severely shifted while on jacks. If you use RK's suggested length settings it should straighten out perfectly when you lower it to the ground. I installed Fox 2.0 shocks and the ride is amazing!! I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
