4 2011 Wrangler - Waynzo Installation Time: Full Day

        Good entertainment

This kit has performed flawlessly for over a year. I have driven my supercharged jeep to Moab and the Rubicon Trail, from Wisconsin without issue. Is the performance gain worth the price? Probably not, but it gives the jeep attitude, and general drivability is greatly improved. I have a six speed, and no longer have to downshift for small to medium hills.

        Supercharging the Undergeared Jeep

Everything was great, lots of power. A few fitment problems with intercooler piping, however my jeep was originally from Canada. I believe they may have used a different dimensioned radiator in this jeep. Excelleration and power are great, but I know adding correct gears, will bring more life from the supercharger.

My first question is this ripp coming whit the blow off system? My second question is, my Jeep is stock in gears right now and after I put this super charged I gonna intall the long headers ripp also but I’m running 37 tires whit 22x12 wheels what number of gears do I gonna need to have the best combination on my 2011 rubicon 4drs?

I am the owner of a 2008 JK with 143k miles on 35’s. I am looking to make some upgrades in order to improve my fuel mileage so I am able to justify keeping my Jeep rather than selling in order to get something more practical. I understand the Jeep will never be as good as a car on gas, but I need more than the 12-14mpg. Is this the best option for me?

i’m pulling a small camper trailer behind my jeep up in the mountains I think I need extra power so I’m not constantly downshifting with an automatic is the supercharger a better choice than the turbo for consistent power at lower RPM

      • The supercharger and turbocharger will both help in approximately the same RPM bands. A turbo will produce a brief lag before the boost really "kicks in" whereas a centrifugal supercharger such as this will not, however the supercharger being belt driven will have a much higher parasitic horsepower loss, that means that the supercharger will take some horsepower to actually turn the supercharger head unit, so off boost, power will be lower. Peak efficiencies will be fairly similar, but the turbo will typically be more efficient in the mid to high rpm range. For a tow application a turbo will typically be the best bet is a turbo, which is why turbo diesels are more common than a supercharged diesel, however the supercharger will be more simple to install, and take up less engine bay space, as well as typically being more affordable, while also helping with towing.

What is the BEST STREET performance gear to have in a 3.8 automatic transmission jk?

      • There are a few variables that come into play when choosing the best gear ratio for the 3.8. If you are running a 35" tire the best ratio for daily driving and light to moderate trails would be 5.13 in the JK with an automatic transmission.
