      Not that complicated!

The fender flares are made of a good material. Not flimsy at all. The weather stripping is a little tricky but not too bad. I was shorted a bolt and then I actually broke one, but that was solved by a quick trip to Home Depot. The hardest and most time consuming part was really getting off the rusted old bolts.

      Nice looking fender

This fender looks to be the same style as the Bushwacker and Rugged Ridge, but less in price (at least when I bought them). Installation was pretty easy, no major hiccups. The only thing that was not in the instructions was that on the TJ there is a plastic piece for the rear that you have to take out to get the old flares off. It takes 7 of the push in panel holders that need to be removed to get the piece out which took most of my time. The new flares are pretty much plug and play and look great, my wife loves them.

5 2005 Rubicon - ChopsRubi Installation Time: Afternoon

Very nice for a very solid price

These went on perfect and the hardware is top notch. I am a big fan of the rubber stripping that runs along the edge that mounts up to the body of the Jeep. Gives it a nice clean look and keeps rocks and dirt from chafing the paint. My only minor criticism is that the rear flares do not follow the same mounting line as the OEM flares. With the aforementioned chafing, you are left with a visible line in the paint, just above the new flare. Nothing that touchup paint and a good buffing can't remove, but on Jeep's with higher mileage, this could be a bigger issue (rust).

      Look great, easy to install.

These flares look great and were pretty easy to install. They are made out of what seems to be a rugged material. The hardware is stainless steel which looks great and will hold up to the harsh conditions of our New England winters.

      Great upgrade, easy to install

I replaced my old stock fender flares with the 6" RedRock fender flares. Installation was easy. I thought the wider flare would be flimsy, but these flares are rock solid.

RedRock 4x4 Rivet Style Fender Flare Kit - 6 In. (97-06 Wrangler TJ)

I was looking to install some new fender flares on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler with 35x12 tires. I had not heard of REDROCK or their products and could not find any reviews of the flares but Extreme Terrain carries quality parts so I took a chance. These fender flairs are well built and they fit perfectly on my TJ. All holes matched up to the factory ones. The hardest part of the install was putting on the seal around the edge of the flair. These fender flairs look great install easily and are very made and priced right.

Best Fender Flare kit put there

I am now on my 4th Jeep, 3rd TJ build and hands down this is the best fender flare kit I have found. I have went through multiple styles and brands on my previous builds and this was easily the lowest cost, highest quality product I have found. The only down side is that the bolts could be a bit stronger.

    1 Top Rated Question

Are these flares as thick as the OEMs? I bought a set of Rugged Ridge flares about a year ago that cracked under some(?) pressure. Just curious

    • The RedRock 4x4 Rivet Style Fender Flare Kit would be made of an ABS plastic of similar thickness to the OEM flares.
