    Ask a Question

Could I mount this jack on the Barricade Trail Force HD Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier (Item J20849)? If so, does Extreme Terrain sell a kit to make this possible? Thanks!

    Drucifer

    • While there is not a direct bolt on that we offer we do have a few options. One option would be to bolt the jack to the spare tire with a mount such as this: https://www.extremeterrain.com/redrock-4x4-tire-jack-mount-j100785.html Or this: https://www.extremeterrain.com/mean-mother-recovery-jack-wheel-mount-8717.html

Is there a perferd spot to use to life on a stock bumper with this jack?

    KenW

    • We would advise having it placed tightly and securely wherever is needed to apply pressure for recovery on the bumper.

Do you sell a mount that goes by the driver door?

    AlanC

    • The RedRock 4x4 High Lift Jack can be mounted by the driver door if you utilize the BOLT J-Mount, item # J105849, which can be also found here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/bolt-j-mount-0717jk.html.

Just bought a Jeep, what is this for?

    RicoC

    • The RedRock 4x4 48 in. Extreme Recovery Jack is just as it sounds a recovery jack for recovery when off roading. It's good for lifting up your Jeep, can be used as a make shift recovery winch, etc.

Do you have one that comes in yellow and black, instead of the red color?

    SantiagoT

    • Thank you for your question! We offer a recover jack by Mean Mother that is yellow and black. I listed the link below. https://www.extremeterrain.com/mean-mother-48in-recovery-jack-8717.html

      Red rock jack

I just love this jack, It is alot easier to use then the scissor jack that comes with the jeep. Especially when you are having fun off roading. I would recommend this to all jeep owners.

Great jack. lifted my jeep up with no problem. Would of given it a 5* rating but the item's box was completely destroyed. The jack has a few places where it was beaten on something and paint had chipped off. Would of sent it back but I needed it asap.

      Great addition for modified vehicles

If you have a serious lift like I do, a regular jack just won't cut it. The quality is awesome, so I'm not concerned about a failure when I need it the most. I deducted a star only because I couldn't deduct a half star. You will want some type of retention system for the handle when mounted - I had expected a Velcro strap to come with it at a minimum, but that was a $2 solution. As an added benefit, I mounted mine to the roll bars behind the rear seat. It is so solid it gives me the bracing support of a hardtop on my soft top (Bestop NX), so less lane wavering!

      Solid Jack

Haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but it’s definitely well built and the all black color looks far better on my orange Jeep than those that have red handles. My only gripe is it doesn’t come with a handle keeper to keep the handle attached to the jack when being stowed. To be fair I don’t even think the Hi-lift Jack comes with one of those. You’ll have to purchase that separately or simply zip tie it like I did to keep it form banging around when you’re off-road

      RedRock 48 in Recovery Jack

Excellent high rise Jack for my 03 lifted TJ. The non locking risers are a bit expensive and don’t lock.

      Delivers Fast!

Came really Fast! Down side is the top part came un-assembled, and without the bolt/nut/washer to secure top part (here i come Home Depot!). If your a new to this high lift jack (like me) know this: pull hard on the lever and it will disengage its locked feel. I didn't want to break it and was trying to be careful but i finally gave it a good tug and i felt pretty stupid lol. live and learn!

      35 inch tires? No problem!!

Love it!! Very well made and solid. I've used it twice already removing my 35x12.5x20 mud terrain tires. Easy to use and reinstall on the hood of my Wrangler.

Review from RedRock 4x4 48 in. Extreme Recovery Jack

      Jack

Looks Great on the back of the jeep. I had to buy the mount off amazon, after fears of other reviews. Some of them stated that certain mounts and jacks were not compatible. So did some youtubing, found a mount that would work. I have had both for about two months now, i get lots of oohs, ahhhs, and "what's that thing on the back". Have not used it on the trails yet, but it "looks" sturdy, dependable, and of good build. Looks great, minimal installation issues and loads of compliments. Not a pic guy, sorry. Ignore display name, hope this helps!! lol

Easy install that fit perfectly. Looks great! I just wish it included a handle restraint which I purchased from a farm store for $7.
