I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Raxiom light bar mount bracket fitting all 2007 and up JKs. Today we are going to talk through the installation of this bracket which is a very simple one out of three wrenches. This will bolt directly onto your JK without the need to drill or do any major modifications which makes this a very easy install in less than an hour. However, we'll talk more about the install in just a second.I also want to talk through the construction and a few of the features of this light bar bracket. This light bar mount from Raxiom is a little bit unique. This will allow you to mount a 50-inch LED light bar over the windshield of your Jeep. But it also comes with a crossbar. So if you choose to mount individual light pods or possibly narrower LED light bars if you want to have three light bars you can use this crossbar even if you have to drill some additional holes in it depending on your application and really get more of a custom mounting option for LED light pods or LED light bars. Finally, this light bar bracket setup also has a lower 8-pillar light mount bracket on both the driver and the passenger side giving you the opportunity to mount a couple of pods in that location as well.So this is a very flexible system. And this light bar mount bracket is going to be less expensive than some of the other brackets that only mount a 50-inch light bar that don't have all the flexibility built into it. And for a bar that still fits well, I think that this one is really fairly priced. This is a steel light mount bracket that is designed to be formed around the corners of your windshield frame like a lot of other 50-inch LED light bars on the market. This is covered in a textured black powdered coat finish that's going to help it resist rust and corrosion. It's also going to look good on your Jeep. It's going to match a lot of those factory black plastic accents that you already have right off the assembly line. Now as we said before, the big benefits to the way this is constructed is that it gives you a lot of flexibility. Because this is designed to bolt directly onto your Jeep using the factory holes in your windshield hinges, this is a very simple one out of three wrench installation in under an hour. The first step is going to be removing the five torques bolts from your windshield hinge on either the passenger or the driver's side wherever you decide to start. From there you will just hold your bracket up into place and reinstall those factory bolts. Then you can move onto the opposite side leaving the bolts a little bit loose. From there if you are installing a 50-inch light bar you'll slide it into the slotted mounts up top, or if you're using the crossbar that's included, you can go ahead and install that. Then tighten down all of your hardware. The last step is, of course, installing whichever lights in whatever location you decide to mount them and do all of your wiring. You're just going to need your traditional hand tools to get this installed. However, you are going to need a large torques bit to remove those factory bolts out of your windshield hinges. If you've been working on your JK for a while chances are you already have that in the toolbox. In about an hour time you'll be able to get this installed very easy. This light mount bracket comes in at right around $160 which again, in my opinion, is a very fair price. This is well built and has a nice finish on it. But what I really like about this is all the flexibility you get. You're getting lower A-pillar light mounts. You are getting not only the ability to mount a 50-inch LED light bar but also this crossbar that's included for smaller LED light bars or light pods which isn't something you're finding in a lot of places. There are $200 and more expensive 50-inch LED light bar mounts that don't include the lower A-pillar mount and don't include this cross bar for all of that flexibility. So I really do think that this is a fairly priced bracket. So if you are looking to mount some auxiliary lights on your JK and you're looking for some flexibility to be a little bit creative, I think that this bracket is going to be well built, fairly priced, and install easily all while giving you the flexibility you're after. So that's my review of the Raxiom light bar mount bracket fitting all 2007 and up JKs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
