Ryan: These Raxiom LED headlights are for those of you that have a 2007 to 2018 JK that are looking for a way to replace those factory headlights, which we know leave a lot to be desired, with a high quality set of LED projector headlights without completely breaking the bank. These are gonna be a nice easy one out of three wrench install. They'll include everything you need to get them bolted into your JK. We'll talk a little bit more about that in just a second. So if you're looking to upgrade those factory headlights because they aren't great from the factory, you can do a couple of different things. You can swap in a different halogen bulb into that factory housing. You can upgrade to a different style bulb inside of that factory housing. You can swap the housing with a variety of different bulbs or you can upgrade to something like this, which is actually a full projector LED headlight. So, LED, of course, refers to the light source. This is going to be a light emitting diode. This is going to be very, very bright at a very low draw. The projector part means that you're going to be able to control all of that light. One of the reasons that an LED is allowed to be as bright as it is, is because you have a very sharp cutoff when you put that LED inside of a projector. So none of that light is getting scattered around. It's not going to blind oncoming traffic. And for you as the driver, all of that light is concentrated into the area where you need it where it's actually going to be useful. It's not just scattered up into the trees. So this is going to be a very efficient light. It's going to be a light that gives you a great working beam pattern, plenty of brightness from the driver seat and isn't going to negatively affect oncoming traffic. So you really are getting the best of all worlds there. And like I said before, this isn't going to completely break the bank. This is gonna be a little bit pricey, but it's not going to be the lights that are very similar to this one that are double the cost. Of course, you can find some that are significantly less expensive than these. But I find with lighting, you usually get what you pay for. So you're going to have some high quality LEDs built into this so that the actual light sources are very high quality. The quality construction is there. You're getting your adapter harnesses. You're getting everything you need and you're getting a very bright quality light. But you're not going to go all the way up to the lights that are double the cost. So I think this is a really nice balance of both quality and price. So from the factory, your JK is going to have a 7 inch round headlight, it's going to have a reflector or headlight housing and then it's going to have the bulb inside of that. This is going to be a direct fit replacement. So this is also a 7 inch round light. It's going to fit directly into your headlight bucket without any trimming and it doesn't require any wiring of any kind either. So you're going to have an aluminum housing. That's there to dissipate any sort of heat that might build up from the LED doing its thing. You're going to have a nice clear polycarbonate lens. The background area behind all of the projectors that are in this headlight is black. So it's gonna give you a nice stealthy look during the day. But when you flick these things on, they're gonna be incredibly bright. So you do have a total of really four different projectors that are in here. Two are going to be more of [inaudible 00:02:58] style light. They're gonna be a little bit more for the style, but they are also going to throw light. Then you're gonna have your main projector that is going to be for your low beams. That's gonna produce 2,200 lumens of light. And then your high beams, that's going to produce 3,000 lumens, but it's not only going to be brighter, because it uses a completely different projector, it's also going to change the beam pattern of the light. So, of course, the high beams are designed to be used when there's no oncoming traffic. You want light to be scattered a little bit more so that you can see a broader range, and that's what the high beams are gonna do for you.All of the light that you're getting from these headlights is going to be at 6,000 Kelvin, which is a really nice color temperature. It's not going to be blue. It's going to be very bright white and it's going to be very, very useful for you at night. As I said before, the components used inside of these lights are as important as anything else. And these are going to be Cree LEDs. So they're going to be a nice high quality component that are used to build these headlights. Now, the actual pigtail that comes off of the headlight is going to be an H4 plug-in. So what you have here is an adapter. So to go from H4 to H13 which plugs directly into your JK, you have this little adapter. So, that's pretty common with lights. A lot of them are going to be made as an H4, because let's face it, a lot of different vehicles use a 7 inch round headlight and they wanna be able to use these in those. But specifically for your JK for this light built just for your Jeep, it is going to come with his adaptor that takes it from H4 to H13, so completely plug-and-play install. These headlights are gonna run you $400 and that is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but it's also not going to be the lights that cost double what these ones do and more or less do the same thing. Now, some of those lights that cost double they may throw light a little bit further down the road in front of you. They might be a little bit brighter. But these are going to be such a huge improvement over your factory lights and they're going to be built of very high quality components. So, as I said before, I think these are a great balance. You're going to get very high quality at a price that's not gonna break the bank. If you wanna go with that premium top-of-the-line light, we have those available but they are going to be significantly more expensive. And if you wanna save a few dollars, you're going to get a light that is not as well-built as this one is. Now somebody from the installation team will show you how you get these installed.Man: First thing we're gonna do is pop the hood so we can remove the grille. That'll give us access to the headlights. Now that we have our hood open, we can start to remove the six pushpins on the top of the grille. I have a pry tool here. We're gonna pry the six pins out. And that's gonna give us access to the headlights. Once you got the six pushpins removed on the upper grille here, we're gonna pull straight out on the grille to release the bottom clips down here. That's gonna give us access to our headlights. We're now ready to remove our stock headlights. We need a T15 Torx bit to remove the retention ring that hold the headlights in place. This ring is not for show. It actually holds your headlight in place. So that's the first thing that we're gonna remove. Once you got all four screws out, we're gonna pull our headlight out. All right. Now we can unplug the factory headlight. We're gonna snap this red clip up. Pull out. There's our highlight. We're gonna do the same thing on the other side now. We got four screws to remove. To start our install off of our new headlights, we need to transfer over our trim ring off of the stock headlights. So what we're gonna do is simply pull the trim ring off of the headlight here, take it, and we can place it onto our new LED headlight. We're gonna do that for both headlights. Pull this off. Put our trim ring on. And next we need to plug in the supplied adapter harnesses here. This is an H13 bulb adapter harness. And basically we need to take the three prong end, plug our adapter in to the headlight. All right. Once you've got the bulb adapter harness, we're going to plug in the CAN bus adapter as well. Okay. We can do the same thing for the other headlight. All right. We have our H13 adapter plug here. Plug it into the three prong coming out of the headlight. And then next we take the CAN bus adapter and plug that into here.We are now ready to install our new headlights. First thing we're gonna do is plug our harness in and then we will insert the headlight into the bucket. And we can line the trim ring up. And we'll get a couple screws started. And using our T15 Torx, we can start to put some screws in our retention ring here. We're gonna do the same thing on this side of the vehicle now. We're gonna plug our adapter harness in. And we can feed some of this extra wire in. Okay. Now if we rotate our trim ring to the proper orientation, because it will only go on one way, we can get a couple screws started.Finishing things up here, we're gonna reinstall our grille. We need to line up the pins on the bottom and push straight in and we can reinstall our pushpins that hold the grille in place. Last thing we're gonna do here is close our hood up.That's gonna wrap up our review and install of the Raxiom LED headlights. Be sure to check out more at extremeterrain.com.

Lights worked great for the first week and then a flicker started. Now when the light switch is set to automatic so the lights turn on for daylight etc. all the lights come on including the high beams. I now have to manually turn the lights on so this does not occur.Helpful (3)

Many problems but you can still see into tomorrow
First of all the lights did not fit at all . I had to use a screw driver and a lighter in order to get them into the proper placement by melting and forming the mounts. Second the anti flicker harnesses are junk . When turning my high beams on my headlights go out completely extreme terrain sent me 2 new ones and still the same thing. I had to run the lights without them and now I have some flickering but not much but now my highbeams actually work. With all that being said I would still give these lights 5 stars do to the pure brightness . You can see a grey hair on the guys head 20ft ahead of you on the highway . Also extreme terrain was very helpful and offered to send me a whole new set of headlights so maybe once they come I can run the anti flicker harness.Helpful (2)

Are these Projector or Reflective LED lights?
The Raxiom LED Headlights are a reflective headlight.
If and when one of the lights dies or goes out are the led’s replaceable or do you have to buy an entirely new lens/set of lights? In other words will it cost another $400 when these fail? Thanks
These lights have no serviceable parts.
Which is the top of the light? I one pic there shows the solo bulb at the top with the group of 3 bulbs at the bottom and I see another pic where the 3 bulbs are on top and the solo bulb is on the bottom.
The 3 lights will be at the top of the headlight when installed.
Why in the install video do you have a second set of adapter..... aka looks like a anti flicker box?
Those are anti-flicker modules in the video and should be included in the kit.
I purchased an Eagle Eyes grill so will these headlights still work correctly since a portion of the top of the lights are covered by the grill to provide the Eagle Eye look?
Yes, these are compatible with aftermaket grilles.
We would suggest contacting our customer service. If your lights were purchased before January of 2019, they are covered under a 2 year warranty.
The Raxiom LED Headlights can withstand heavy rain, but are not rated for submersion in water. These headlamps do not require anti flicker harnesses.
No, unfortunately these headlights do not have turn signals built in to them.
The Raxiom LED Headlights do not have DRLs.
This headlight kit will not require any additional parts for the installation.
While these are designed to handle the elements and withstand the strain of debris these are not intended to be submerged or in water.
Unfortunately, this item will only work on the JK Wranglers and will not fit the JL Wranglers.
At this time Raxiom does not offer matching fog lights for theRaxiom LED Headlights.
