Year into it..
First of extreme terrain is great to deal with, very responsive and customer service oriented. The unit was purchased last may (2016) to replace the factory 130 unit. Fit and finish is great, installation instructions are ok, but if you are technically savvy, you will figure it out.
My favorite part of the radio is back up camera. That alone is worth an extra star, if it wasn't for the camera, I would have rated this radio as two stars. Several reasons for that. 1 - it is extremely slow. Not sure if the hardware is outdated, it shouldn't take 35 seconds to reconnect to Bluetooth after starting your motor. 2 - software is glitchy, needs better QA as things like switching back and forth between pandora and nav pauses playback. 3 - too many adjustments needed to set it up properly. Various input volumes for Bluetooth, phone, auxiliary, USB etc can be very frustrating to dial in correctly. 4 - steering wheel control programming is not how I would have configured it. 5 - no equalizer, at that price I wouldn't mind being able to adjust individual frequencies myself.
Now positives: 1 - ultimately extensibility with amps, signal processors, etc. remote turn off delay to prevent the thump. 2 - back up camera is great, make sure to get the mounting brackets. 3 - sound quality is pretty good when it's playing. :)
Conclusion - would I buy this again, the answer is no. I think there are better options from alpine and pioneer with much better performance and hardware. I just ordered brand new rubicon and opted in for 430N unit and alpine audio to try upgraded factory unit. If that doesn't work, I will be selling the factory unit and replacing with above mentioned brands.
