Are there drilling required during install?

        • The lift kit does not require drilling, however, this is an invasive install. Mechanical expertise would be highly suggested. I was able to locate an install guide for reference on the Pro Comp listing. https://www.procompusa.com/aux_incl/pdf.ashx?pdf=55801B_55802B_K3100B_K3102B_%20INST.pdf&line=EXP

Is it recommended to buy bump stops for this kit? If so is there a recommended size?

        • Hello, JamesKT5U1566642 Bump stumps can be very viable depending on how you drive your jeep, for example off roading, trail riding etc could really benefit from enhanced bump stops. I have posted a few links below for you to check out. https://www.extremeterrain.com/fox-factory-series-bumpstop-ifp-front-0717.html https://www.extremeterrain.com/rugged-ridge-polyurethane-front-bump-stop-0717-jk.html

I notice in the picture there are sway bar links as well as track bars. However, the description of what is in the box doesn't mention these parts. Are they included or not?

        • The sway bar links and the track bars are included in this kit "Pro Comp 3.5 in. Lift Kit w/ Shocks" item number J104376. The items shown pieced out in the pictures, would be what is in the package.

One customer asked if there were any additional parts that should be considered when purchasing. He was told to look at track bars, but then in another question about the contents of the kit another customer is told that the trackbars are included. Could you please clarify? thanks

        • The Pro Comp 3.5 in. Lift Kit w/ Pro Runner Shocks will not require track bars as the kit already includes new front and rear track bars for the lift height.

Is there anything else I should consider purchasing with this kit aside from and exhaust spacer?

        • The Pro Comp 3.5 in. Lift Kit w/ Pro Runner Shocks, is an excellent kit. However I would recommend looking into a few items such as trackbar relocation brackets or a new trackbar, steering stabilizer and a dropped pitman arm.

            3.5 Pro Comp lift

This was an easy install as I had access to a car lift took only 3 hours. It rides very nice, better than the stock on and off road. The shocks and coils are really high quality and really pop out underneath the Jeep. I love it, I've used Pro Comp on many parts for the Jeep so this was a no brainier for me. It even comes with a free 5 year/ 60,000 mile warranty if your Jeep qualifies. You wont regret getting this.
